Questions, answered
- Can I change plans at any time?
- Yes, from the Stripe customer portal. An upgrade applies immediately and you pay only the difference for the days left in the month. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — so you keep what you paid for, and there is no leftover credit to chase. Going back to Free is the same thing as cancelling: your data stays, and nothing is deleted.
- What happens when I hit a limit?
- Nothing breaks. Your existing contacts, automations and sequences keep working exactly as they are — you simply can't create new ones past the limit until you upgrade.
- Do you take payments from my customers?
- No. Your customers pay on your site, through your own checkout. CRM City only records what happened — orders, invoices, interest signals — so your relationship data stays complete.
- Is my data locked in?
- No — your data is always yours. The Business plan adds one-click full backup and export of every table plus configuration, and on every plan you can read your data over the API. Leaving must always stay possible; that's a design principle.
- Do I need a card to start?
- No. The Free plan is the permanent trial: no card, no time limit. Upgrade only when the product has earned it.
- Will my price go up later?
- Not for at least a year. These are launch prices and they will rise for new subscribers at some point; if you subscribe now, your rate is held for a minimum of 12 months from the day you start. After that we may move you to the plan's current price, and if we do you get at least 30 days' notice by email, so you can change plan or cancel before it applies. An increase is never applied retroactively. Separately, changing plan yourself moves you to that plan's current price in either direction — move to Pro and you pay what Pro costs that day; move back to Starter later and you pay what Starter costs that day, not what you originally had. The lock follows the plan you are on, not your account.
